Funkturm is the nom de plume of London-based artist and designer Richard Gallon. Funkturm’s name originates from a visit to the Berlin radio tower and a fascination with short wave radio.
Originally purely a studio project, Funkturm has more recently been performing live with various collaborators. This include a live-to-air radio broadcast and an improvised film soundtrack for Alta Punt Abrir.
A new song-based set, a collaboration with various vocalists, is in the works for late 2022.
